Last night after visiting my wife's family house, we left at a rather earlier time. We were not able to have dinner at their house cause her mom's still cooking the food for dinner and I have an online job at 8:00 PM. So off we go and looked for some nice and decent resto that we can have dinner. Lucky as we are, we need not look far from where we've been because right in front of the CIty Hall we spotted a newly opened dining place. We settled for it and fingers crossed we hoped that it will not disappoint us.

Part of my growing up and student years in Baguio City is, without a doubt, a visit to different bookstores and school supplies stores. These establishments were the big thing in Baguio before the dawn of giant bookstores in the city. They have etched so many good memories not only with me but in behalf of all who were students in 90's and early 2000's. Join me as we travel down the memory lane and visit these stores once again as we continue with our Throwback Thursday series.

It's been 2 years and I know that this blog entry has been long overdue but as the saying goes "it's better to be late than never." It was April 5, 2016 when I got an email from Ms. Lia Pangilinan, a researcher from the Center for Kapampangan Studies at the Holy Angel University-Angeles City, Pampanga, asking me if it would be okay for me to contribute in her book project my personal experience about the devastating July 16, 1990 earthquake here in Baguio City. Without hesitation, I said yes and told her that it would be such an honor for my story to be published and be a part of her book.
